Oh yea they'll be on the ball. Just like they were on Saturday when my train arrived at Barnsley full of Wednesday fans, they asked if i was going to the match but never asked to see my ticket allowing me to stroll unaided into the town centre.

Why would they want t see yer ticket.

 

Ask if we where going to the match to which we said "Yes" Wednesday fans where been escorted down the platform towards the level crossing. We could easily have been Wednesday fan looking for trouble.

So checking tickets on the platform would have been a way of making sure who was who.

How would showing a ticket to a copper sort out who was a trouble causer and who was not?

They wanted the Wednesday fans away from tarn trouble causer or not but the police just took our word for it when we said Barnsley fans

how would that prove you were a Barnsley fan?You could have been a wensdy fan with a ticket for the Barnsley sections of the ground!not that you are,just pointing out how showing the filth your ticket is not a guarantee that you are a Barnsley fan.

I need t go t Sheffield saturday afternoon,when I come out of Midland Station at 12 30 I wont expect to be questioned,and if I was I would take exception .Civil liberties an all that.

 

Sheffield station is a damn sight bigger & busier than Barnsley. When a train rolls up at 12pm from Sheffield into Barnsley 90% of passengers are going to the match, especially if your 2 lads not wearing shirts you expect to get Questioned i just think the Rozzers performed badly.

 

So you are annoyed that the police allowed you freedom of movement having got off a train? OK!

Wednesday at home to QPR I could be a Cockney looking for trouble. Whats the size of the train station got to do with it .

 

No!!! But a big crowd was expected accents hard to tell apart Copper on the door said "are you here for the match" we replyed "Yes" He said "Who you supporting" after saying Barnsley & not asking for any proof id already got my match ticket out to show him he just let us walk through.

Well i know for a fact tha's got a Worsbro accent and People are moving in & out of SHeffield station constanly not ever 1/2 hour like Barnsley
