Just a little something I wanted to share at the time of the beautiful win against Chelski.

Just back from 4 truly ***** months in Iraq but where my eight man team (none of whom I had met before) incredibly contained three reds fans. None of us witnessed the defeat of Liverpool but we all managed to kind of get off Ops, crowd round a laptop to watch KO annhilate the 'then' England captain. Outstanding. The rest of the tour really flew by.

Now I was initally devastated to have lost to Cardiff, but then I just felt bad for KO, for the amount of **** he was taking. It's only football and it was more than made up when the big man bagged a couple of vital goals in this fight against relegation. I for one can't imagine how he could focus on his game over the last months knowing the very fans who are supposed to be cheering the team on were jeering him. We're better than that at Barnsley. He puts the effort in, that is only criteria that needs to be met to get my support.

BTW, get Howard up front, just behind KO, you know he wants to be the next Matt Le Tissier... It might just work?

Commendable comments by the good Doc.

Dunno if Odething could do a lone front man ? Unless you're shoving Howard forward to play off the front 2 ?

Maybe KO and Bri up front (possibly a little lacking in pace), Da Silva and Leon in the middle, JCR and Devaney on the wings.

Best stick to my day job.
