It's quite simple for me, if we don't take 3 points against Chesterfield then we start planning for next season immediately. Any loan signings who we have no chance of signing permanently should be sent back immediately (Pearson, Stewart, Wildsmith & John for sure), I'm guessing there's a chance of Jabo, Waring & Ramage staying so maybe not them. Give game time to Cowgill, Smith, Digby, Oates & Nana. Give Dale Jennings the last few games to see if there's any ambition left in him. I really do think we're in a fantastic position going into the summer. Only Jennings will remain on a championship contract. Nearly all the players signed on beyond the end of the season are wanted by us. Lita & Hemmings' deals are up which frees up some funds. Hopefully keep Cranie & Nyatanga on smaller contracts. And then go for automatic promotion next season
Agree with most of this. We need to know by the end of the season who clearly are IN and OUT of the plans for next season.
How many more chances do we give Jennings? I'd rather see somebody who wants to play and impress. I honestly think Jennings is a bust flush.
I think you're probably right but good chance for Johnson to have a look at him if we've nowt to play for & he is under contract another year so it's likely we're stuck with him
Ye at Chester. Think they like him there, I remember seeing some positive comments from a link to a Chester forum & they extended his deal til the end of the season. Can't help thinking the loans exactly what Digby has needed for the past two seasons
Digbys injured at the moment again I think. This is the reason we have so many loanees , the 4 or 5 young players we thought would progress, with the exception of 2 havent
No probs that mate, we will also do Peterbro, Bradford and Rochdale. Ars that for positivity or darn reight stoopidity.
Yeah we sent the loanees back early last season and so if we were to not win on saturday maybe we'd do the same.
