**** me, you really do not want the above as an adult. Just got out from the best part of a week in hospital with it, (albeit made worse because I have a suppressed immune system from the drugs they give me for my pooey issues). Still feel absolutely buttf@cked, and I nearly look ugly enough to fit in sitting in the Ponty End for the next home match...

Me and my brother both in our mid 20's caught them last summer, he got them 1st and i caught them 2 weeks later (Exactly 2 weeks before i was due to go on holiday). Not pleasant just a week off work and felt like death, lost best part of 3/4 of a stone aswell luckily they cleared up just in time for my hols, try to resist picking them!!!

Told you if you carried on shagging fowl you'd catch summat.

I've heard it's a proper b'stard if you get it as an adult. And if your last week wasn't bad enough, you may now have shingles to look forward to.

Never had any of them poxy measley mumpy things. Hoping to be able to still say that when I'm 85 just before I die of a heroin overdose. While driving a Ferrari.

Had chickenpox when I was 17 and at college. Missed two key weeks that stopped me getting a distinction. Had to make do with a merit. And a sore arse, back, cóck, legs, arms, face etc etc. Wasn't fun at all and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Not that I have any enemies, being such a good bloke and all that.

Thankfully I got them when I was 8. I had them all over, including inside my ears and mouth, passed them on to my brother who had them for the entirety of the Easter holidays, something he remains grateful for as he prides himself off never having a day off school.
