It means that when Khaled was talking to the Algerian Royal family he was really asking asking them to buy out Chien Lee and take over control of the chocolate Dildo moulding franchise.
I'd just come online to post the same news, but Gally was quicker. As you've worked out, his shareholding must have diluted to below 25% to no longer be shown as a PSC. Presumably Parekh has bought more of his shareholding or he's not taken up his rights on the latest share issue. Good news, either way.
After the share issue on 3rd March (to which he partially subscribed) Chien held 30.60% of the shares in BFC Investment Company so this would indicate that he's sold/transferred somewhere between 5.60% and all of his shares. Nothing as yet on the Hong Kong site as to exactly how many and who to.
Based on the information I have read, my feelings towards Chien Lee are wholly ambivalent. My ire is almost entirely directed towards Conway.

Yes, that's a very good point. From the outside, it appeared that Chien had very little active input full stop, although in reality that would have been strange, bearing in mind how much money he had tied up in BFC. In short, fck knows what was actually going on.
I can sort of see that point of thinking, however Chien hasn't cuit ties with Conway. If it was just us then I'd hold him mostly blameless the same as I do with Neerav, but unlike Neerav Chien is still involved and still going into business and ruining football clubs with Conway right across Europe. I can't really absolve him of his responsibility because of that.
He is there really regularly for a busy man who lives on another continent. Can't fault his attendance

Well, it makes him 5% less dangerous We all want him and Conway gone, but it's positive that their influence seems to be getting ever diluted. Most importantly, they're nowhere near decision making. I dread to think the state we'd be in right now, if they were still on the Board.
