Unsurprising really given how much money was being thrown around. I remember this story from a few years ago where Scunthorpe bizarrely turned down £4million for Kevin Van Veen, who himself was a fairly average league 1 striker. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sk...-for-kevin-van-veen-from-chinese-super-league I always thought it would end in tears.
