I'm getting old so can someone remind me? Clarke and Hunter...who came as number 1 and who came as number 2? Who had the greatest impact on Barnsley then struggling as a low division side? Wilson did not arrive as the manager did he - wasn't he number two? Did he not nearly get the sack in his first season? The point I am making is that Davey may or may not be the right man and only time will tell but reputation and experience counts for nothing unless you are one of the top recognised managers...Mourinho, Ferguson, Alladyce, O'Neill, Wenger etc. It all depends on whether the manager,team, chairman and board 'gel' as a team. If it was easy to predict football wouldn't be football. So far the man has 2 wins and 1 draw. He seems to conduct himself very well and has tactical nous. Judge him on results. Remebre how many people wanted Spackman.........I rest my case!!
