Chopra WANTS to stay at Newcastle and play in their first team. Other than that he will take the best option for him, to be playing at the highest level he can. If he doesnt sign for a premiership side like Watford then I think we are in with a pretty good chance of seeing him at Oakwell next season. Fingers crossed.
Problem is, should he leave Newcastle there are plenty of other clubs for him to choose. I can see us being well down the pecking order in terms of big wages. But as you say, fingers crossed!
i cant see it myself would love him to be back down at the well. but if he does leave newcastle and watford or another prem club didnt want him, i would think that there would be "better" shall we say more established championship clubs interested him. He may look at us and think we will struggle to stay up. Hope im wrong like think he would be a great addition
Let's Not Forget That he has the option of signing a one-year deal at Newcastle, and then going out on loan - which Roeder has offered to do if he found his chances limited. THEN we could afford him!
