IMHO i think we should never have bought him in the first place as he is not of the standard to keep us in this division so should get shut. What do you lot think?.....

Probably the only hill signing that has puzzled me, really struggle to see what he brings to the team. would be interesting to find out exactly how much we paid for him.

And me to be fair, seems, dare i say it, a bit of a panic buy when Vas Te was heading for the Oakwell exit door to West Ham.All the others have brought promise albeit sporadically but he isn't and never will be good enough as any sort of attacking threat in this league for me.

I thought he may be viewed as a replacement for Gray in the works-hard-but-doesn't-score-many role. Whether that's useful or not is another matter but I think we need it if Davies is the other striker because he doesn't work hard enough but has scored a few. What I would also say is keep in mind Jim O'Brien, he really struggled last year but was on fire before his injury this time around, it often pays to give people a chance as chopping and changing for other players of about the same ability as we have done in recent seasons doesn't help much anyway.

Headless chicken is the phrase that springs to mind. Really hope I'll be proven wrong.

He needs to be given a chance to develop under Hill so next season will be a better measure of whether he can play at this level. I have no doubt whatsoever that if he isn't going to make the grade that Hill will move him on. He deserves to be given a chance before people start to chalk '****' on him as a Barnsley player.

    Dagnall and Golbourne

Bought for next season imho - get a taster of the demands of the Championship then Hill has all summer to do a Vaz Te on them.

    My theory anyroad up.

    Persevere definitely.

I've seen nothing so far to suggest that he is good enough but I feel that he should be judged next season once KH has had a chance to work with him through pre-season.

Glavin and Aylott didn't pull up any trees when they first joined us.

Players deserve a fair chance in my opinion, just look at Jim O' Brien

He's not here to keep us up. He's here to improve and make us better next year.

He's been here less than 2 months, made 2/3 starts and already been slagged off when come into a team that's been in a poor run of form. Need to think on.

Lets not forget, Jim O'Brien was the worst signing in the history of BFC last season. How about we give players actual time to develop and settle in before we decide how poor they are?
