    That's the first big challenge out of the way and everything is going to plan. It will be tougher in the alps though.

    Well done to Peter Kennaugh too. Showed his bravery today.

    Didn't watch it but i see he's in the yellow so that's another good thing for the British this weekend.

    Agreed. Froome was brilliant today but he'll have to tough it out to win because he's going to be under attack a lot and his depleted team is going to be put under a lot of pressure. He needs Porte and Kennaugh to bounce back after the rest day and offer him some protection but he's got the other GC contenders running scared.

    Did you think there was anything at all suspicious about that dodgy overtaking manoeuvre that ended up with Kennaugh in the ditch or am I being paranoid?

    I think it was just stupidity on the part of the other rider. I think it was a Lampre rider who was at fault and they would have nothing to gain from putting a Sky rider out of the race.

    Fair enough. I'm just being paranoid then. If it happens again on Tuesday I'll be suspicious, though.

    If it had been a Saxobank rider I might have been suspicious too.
