They could well do

It's their first ever final of any kind and its a lot larger town than Barnsley. Lookat us at Wembley, nearly 40,000 went down when only 5 years earlier we struggled to pull in 8,000 at Oakwell. Whole families including girlfriends, wives, grannies etc are likely to go because it will most likely be the one and only final they'll ever see.

gotta agree fella , as they havent had any suceess for god knows how long .. the tin of paint trophy will be mobbed i think... 20 to 30k is probably a fair assessment.

Donny's population at 2001 census was 67,977. Barnsley 72,000 plus.

Yeah, as far as town centres go Barnsleys is tiny, thats why its a good night out because youve never far to go to a pub.

The disallowed goal was the right call if you look at replays. The ball out - inconclusive.

I've never been bothered one way or another by Donny and I'm still not.

I was referring to last weekend when we didn't show much fight when we were 2 down.


Of course they'll take a load down to Cardiff, it's a trip to the Millennium Stadium, chance for them to see their team there, we would have done the same had we got to that final just as we did for the Playoff final. Yes, in the great scheme of things it's a nothing competition, but then again their history isn't exactly littered with success and they are on the crest of a wave at the moment.

Correct, but this is what winds me up about Pikeys. They havent had anything that resembles success, but they seem to think they are some sort of sleeping giant and they have some god given right to acheive things. The paint thing is the best theyve done.

They are like wensdi but at least, (and this sticks in my throat), wensdi have been successful, played at the highest level, won trophys and stuff.

I just wish that we could have put that jump up little pub side in its place, but we cant.

That's true, he was wittering the other day about a goal being disallowed when it was 'no way' offside, replays showed it about 5 yards offside.
