United's Football Club Chairman Terry Robinson has provided an update on the future of Blades pair Keith Gillespie and Chris Lucketti. Robinson says that winger Gillespie - via his agent - has verbally agreed to sign a new contract to remain at Bramall Lane.
He said: "We had a verbal confirmation from Keith's agent that he'll be signing. It's made up, waiting for him to sign. He is on holiday."
Meanwhile, centre-back Lucketti, 35, is mulling over offers from United and other clubs before deciding on his future.
Robinson continued: "Chris is on his holidays and is back on Monday or Tuesday, I think. Then we'll know fully what his decision is.
"Chris is at an age where other clubs are looking at him and giving him extended contracts. At this stage, we have made Chris an offer and it's for him to decide whether to take it up."
