I'm not saying that his 'challenge' was done purposely - but from the angle that I saw it, and of which was further emphasised on TV, I can only describe the it as heinous and vile. Why did Morgan 'need' to stick his elbow out? He never intended to jump for the ball, at any point. We've seen Morgan play over 200 games for us, and he's always been a dirty player. That elbow on Hume was not accidental - one Sheffield United fan preposterously stated that 'Hume had run into Morgans elbow'...haha what a joke. Morgan clearly put some force behind the blow, and through the elbow outwards - again, not using it for leverage as his feet never left the ground. Only Morgan can state whether he did it purposely, of which, he is clearly going to deny. It was a evil thing to do - and I honestly believe it was purposely done, having watched the idiot play for years. Any apology he issues will be simply wasted breath, as for me, it won't mean a thing. Again, why the hell did he need to throw his elbow out to the side? He just didn't - no reason whatsover. Terrible, terrible incident. To use the arms for leverage, would not require force enough to fracture someones skull and suffer internal bleeding. No way. The incident needs reviewing, and he wants banning. Absolute animal. Get well soon Hume.
Absoloutley spot on mate!!! Absoloutley no reason to swing his elbow to the side!! Never jamp so nobody can say he was ready to jump! Get well soon Iain
After seeing it on Tv - Im in no doubt that Morgan will rightly be disciplined by the FA. but am sorry - It wont be long enough! It was a horrible, disgusting moment of madness and im sure Chris knows it.
They did say that but I'm pretty sure the incident will be reviewed by the disciplinary committee due to the severity of the injury and the press coverage it's receiving. The FA and FL are a law unto themselves and often break their own rules.
