By my reckoning he is the most recent player to come through the ranks who has spent the majority of his career in the top two divisions Doesn't say much at all for the academy Who would be the most successful player we've produced after him?

To be fair look at the quality youngsters we fetched through around the watsin/morgan era, it was pritty mutch all down to eric winstanly. Its not just abot facilitys that fetch youngsters through, the coaches play a massive part.
Kay, Austin, Flinders, Williams and Tonge All played a part in our promotion season so in that respect it has been succesful because how much more money has been in the championship generated for us? The academy is more likley to produce players at the standard of the division you are based in as you come up against that standard, whether we have any youngster coming through who are able to compete at this level is still to be seen?
