Last 50 seconds or so of this interview - http://audioboo.fm/boos/972889-keith-hill-post-birmingham-on-winning-5-0-x-factor-and-chris-o-grady Even though Hill says 'no' when asked if he is trying to sign him, the rest of what he says makes it sound as if it's a done deal - Hill obviously reads stuff on this internet, maybe this board, as he knows we all take the p*ss about most signings having played for Rochdale at some point and defends Chris O'Grady by saying "people should see him as an ex-Sheffield Wednesday player rather than an ex-Rochdale player". Can't say I've seen that much of him to pass judgement, Wednesday fans seem to have mixed feelings on him. I would have thought Hill would need to try and offload Harewood maybe before getting another striker seeing as Mido will expect a lot of game time when he's fit. That being said, after listening to this interview I'm convinced O'Grady will have signed by the middle of the week - obviously on loan with a permanent transfer in January. Probably 350 grand which is what Wednesday paid for him.
Also says something like "He's gonna run through walls for me". Suppose he has to deny it as there is probably just a verbal agreement in place at the moment between the clubs. Last week Rob Staton asked him if he was signing any more players, Hill say no, hours later that Kennedy lad had signed.
You can't really believe anything Keef says when it comes to transfers Jacob Melis was 'not all that' back in January don't forget
Re: You can't really believe anything Keef says when it comes to transfers I wouldn't try to decipher a Keith Hill interview, he's an eccentric orator at the best of time. Even Bletchley Park would be scratching it's collective head in befuddlement.
