It's a bit of a shame that he and his family upped sticks to move down to Brighton, despite being settled up here, only to be fobbed off for 3 months. Wouldn't surprise me if he went to United. Liked living in Sheffield, Clough was keen in the summer, and they've made no secrets about wanting another striker. We don't need him, and he was on a massive chunk here.
We don't know if he's been fobbed off. We don't know if he's better/worse than their other players, have a good/bad attitude, poor/good in training etc. Going there wouldn't be a shock though followed by Donny in the future to finish the Radio Sheffield half dozen.
Prefer the players we have got TBH ,so not bothered in the slightest, I don't even think he is the type of player that they need in this league, although can be trusted to restrict his 'tackle' to the pitch which is a plus for them!
Re: Alan Biggs' next tweet Was just thinking the same. In a similar vein, Gordon Brown singlehandedly collapsed the world economy...
Re: Alan Biggs' next tweet I'm just pleased we didn't crumble in the summer and let them take O'Grady from us. Would sooner have given him to Brighton than take Manor Top's money. If he does go there, he'll be immense for them, sadly.
Re: Alan Biggs' next tweet Lived in Darton according to Chron and WAB http://www.wearebarnsley.com/news/article/5456/ogrady-unsure-where-future-lies
Woolley grange, mate flagged his back garden. He'd be sh#thot in this league, very happy with our options though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Re: Alan Biggs' next tweet Well at least we got £55 million or similar became available for him from going to Brighton, we'd have only got 20p from Sheff utd.
Re: Alan Biggs' next tweet £55 million? Blimey. Yeah, that was a good deal. Where's all the money gone then? And STILL no new scoreboard!?!
Re: Alan Biggs' next tweet I say £55mill but I think it's a flexible figure depending on the situation at the time.
Don't understand how United couldn't afford him in the summer (even just the wages) but they can now?
