Despite the "Shuker Genius or Crap debate", surely it makes business sense to tie him to a longer term contract?

He only signed a 1 year deal at the begining of this season and I think every side above us, with exception of the top 5 in the championship would love to have him in the squad. Saying that, the top 5 would take note if he scores 10 to 15 goals.

He's a fairly decent player in form, who we cant let just walk away for nothing at the end of the season!

Didn't he insist on a one year deal?

    Form is temoprary,

I am very happy that he is "playing" well at the moment.

However I just dont rate him , sorry about that. Same as Colgan , glad he is now getting the shots staright at him so he can stop them, maybe we have changed our defence in order to allow more close range shots , rather than crosses for headers. I dont know but now we are playing to our keepers strengths and forcing the opponents into the area and shooting.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.
    Have we?

News to me. I think you've got selective recall. As have most 'Shuker is great' fans.

I wonder if the recent upturn in his form can in any way be attributed to the arrival of Devaney, who may well challenge him for his place on the right, if ever Howard does get fit.
