all though we all know what daveys like, on paper his cv isn't that bad, 3 consecutive survivals, the cup run of course, academy experience and a **** load of these b adges that fifa give out, someone will take him and it probably won't be a club from round here as they're probably a bit more clued up, Darlington?

depends how you look at his CV

And whether it includes his failure to meet objectives set out by his employer, his match records, the budget that he needed to scrape a survival on the last day of the season, all his unsuccessful signings or even the fact that he released almost all of the academy players after being given the full managers job indicating that even he thought he hadnt developed the players to the required standard.

Any club looking at league positions alone and only seeing us when we've been on sky against liverpool and chelsea might reckon he's ok but then they deserve all they get if they choose managers based on sky sports alone. Any club looking a little deeper into daveys record will run a mile.

Did he even apply for the lincoln job? Probably wants some time out of the game

Yes. He got down to last 3; Davey, Sutton and Pemberton? I think. Got called back for a second Interview but obviously didn't get the job.
