    Anybody any idea which film I'm thinking of?

    I only have a VERY vague recollection of it but I think a boy gets a gun for Christmas and manages to injure his own eye with it (recoil possibly) and maybe a falling icicle plays a part in the film too.

    I told you it was vague.

    And another one. It's snowing and all the kids (American) work together to stop the snow slow doing its job because if there's snow on the roads they get the day off
