in the christmas song 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus', it states in the first verse that the young kid sees his mum cheating on dad with santa. Yet in the other christmas song 'Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town', it clearly states that 'he sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake'......... So if Santa knows when you're awake, how the hell can the kid in the first song see 'Mommy Kissing Santa Claus??? Therefore if you presume that Santa isn't at the house as the kid's awake, then surely that song doesn't represent the 'spirit' of Christmas, as its giving away the fact that Santa isn't real and its your dad/neigbour/milkman or whoever that's dressed up as santa? And if it isn't his daddy whos dressed up as Santa, the obviously the kid will realise that his mom's a slut! either way, its a traumatic experience for the young 'en! Merry Christmas everybody!
On the subject of Christmas songs Roy Wood with Wizard stated "I wish it could be Christmas everyday" He's clearly not thought this out, as most shops would always be closed and you couldn't rely on those corner shops that do open on Christmas Day as they'd never get any deliveries.
And Nat King Cole sang about...... Chestnuts roasting on an open fire while Jack Frost is nipping at your nose.
Surely the heat from the fire, which would have to be pretty damn hot to roast chestnuts, would be effective enough to make sure that Jack Frost would be all melted away before he even got near any of your extremities!

How about Band Aid... it says 'There Won't Be Snow In Africa This Christmas Time'. well surely thats always the case given its location near the equator?! AND Bing Crosby sang Im dreaming of a white christmas just like the ones i used to know. i've never had a white christmas-or was too young to remember one!
Santa can be tricked evidently he doesn't really know if children are asleep. In Here Comes Santa Claus it says "jump in bed and cover your head." This would then enable the child to sneak downstairs and see mommy kissing santa claus. Although this song also says he comes down Santa Claus Lane. Naming the lane after himself, bit like Madejski and his stadium
RE: Santa can be tricked Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and apparently this helped Santa guide his sleigh on a foggy Christmas Eve. The red light might assist at the back to warn other sleigh drivers behind in the way fog lights do on cars but at the front he'd be better with a white high-intensity fog light.
Just a thought if its still foggy And he needs to navigate by noselight - will he only be able to do houses at half speed - like the planes can only land at twice the interval at heathrow, and if so does it mean some kids will need to wait until christmas night for their pressies
