Iseka will come back, bang in a load of goals and we'll lose him on a free next summer.

He'll be shipped out on loan faster than you can say "Turkish delight." I do think he'd do a job in L1 though.

If we finally get a tune of out Iseka and he can be arsed he should be getting 20+ goals at this level.

If Iseka has his head right he could save us a lot of money trying to bring in a forward. Fingers crossed a new manager/new chance might work in our favour. I tend to think he'll be off out on loan again although I wouldn't have thought his time in Turkey was particularly enjoyable.

They both need to follow Mad's example, loyalty paid off in the end.

I think Duff had a problem with Iseka, with his attitude the problem.
I do personally believe both will be gone before a ball is kicked but it would be great if both of them settled down and put some effort in.

Iseka won't kick another ball for us. I'm torn on Styles. If I thought he could return with the right attitude, it would be like a new signing. I'm just not convinced he would. We can't afford to have any negative characters in the dressing room.

Possible, he should be well good enough, and I understand that we have got clearance from Luton to play him regularly if we want!

Not sure about that. Living in Istanbul in the same city as his brother, who plays for Fenerbahce, he probably felt a lot less isolated etc than if he'd stayed in South Yorkshire, having family on his doorstep (maybe they even lived together).

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that. I was thinking more of him having to leave his original Turkish club due to an earthquake or something and then having to move to a club playing in front of one man and his dog.
Shame we never got the best out of him.

He's still got 2 years left on his contract.

I'm not, that's another 2 years we've to pay a player that seemingly doesn't want to be here.

My early impressions of Collins is that he won't take any ****, even more so than Duff last season, so Iseka has essentially 8 weeks to make his mind up about whether he wants to get his head down and put himself in the shop window next summer, or ship out.

I sympathise with him though as he's still a relatively young lad, away from home, in a country where few people speak his language.

Iseka’s wife and child are back in Belgium. They haven’t come back to the UK.

There’s no incentive for him to do anything for us now if they’re not going to come and join him - that seems to be his mentality.

He’ll want a loan or mutual termination.

Decent player - but not hard working enough, and won’t sacrifice family time for his trade. He only signed for the money, clearly.

Iseka looked like a cross between Messi and Paddy McCourt in that game against Sheff U. He bagged a few in a short period then just seemed to lose interest.
I think we'll get a tune out of him for a few games whilst the sun shines in August, then I think he'll be off again.

If only players thought about detail like this when they see the ££££££££££ on the contract offer.
They sign it, knowing full well they can FO when they want and still get paid til the contract expires. In my industry, if I sign a contract and walk away, I don't get paid. And probably get penalised (and ostracised) too!!

Iseka still not as guilty as Oulare. I've never been so angry at a footballer than him due to the way he treated us. I don't know if it is anger, or jealousy on my part that he 'works' in an industry that allows lazy b4st4rds to get rich at my (our) expense. Either way, he's a first class lovely person.

Even with Oulare, as much as I do agree with you, I'd say the real culpability sits elsewhere. What Conway did, signing off on those two contracts, borders corporate negligence IMO. It's set us back years.

    Absolutey agree.
I'd go after Conway first if I had my way.
