very generous indeed

I would assume that 5 is about an average performance, not great but not particularly bad. I would say the entire team played an average performance, if that, and Dwayne Mattis looked sub standard even compared to the rest. But the chronicle will never rate anyone lower because I think they are scared of offending the club, even when frankly they deserve it.

The "-" that you put to the right of the 5..........put it to the left and it would probably be accurate!

Davey was even defending Mattis in his press conference today. Saying he thought he was being given a hard time by the fans unfairly. Is he blind? Fair enough, I dont expect the manager to come out and openly criticise the lad but sometimes silence speaks volumes. Mattis has been terrible in both games he has played, and the fans are right to make themselves heard as he shouldn't be playing in our team. Unless Davey genuinely thinks Mattis has done alright, and that is chuffing worrying.

Not much difference in the stats apart from the Colchester strikers were simply better at getting the ball on target and putting it in the net.

I can't wait for Simon to leave Richards out, he will obviously become a better player over night and be the answer to all our goal scoring problems. (casualty)
