Anyone else read the match report from Bradford? Part of the report mentioned that Nick Colgan's performances have helped him "make the number 1 shirt his own". Now I thought that in the day & age of squad numbers, if he's given the number 1 shirt at the start of the season, the number 1 shirt is his, regardless of performances unless he's sold. Now don't get me wrong, in the main I think he's done well for us this season but what a crap phrase. Before the advent of squad numbers, fair enough, but surely now the phrase is obsolete.
