Major act of vandalism today as Inter City Glasgow - London service collided with pile of tyres placed on track at BoD. Train fuel tanks ruptured and hydralic system damaged. Over 150 passengers placed in severe danger, serious rail disruption ensued.</p> ***** !</p>

It happened at Goldthorpe, the train didnt stop until it got to Bolton. My dad works for the railway and was at goldthorpe when it happened. they had put a steel hub of a wheel on the track. he moved it just incase another train was on its way. So stupid, could av caused some major injuries!!
