Jay McEveley: "we had a game plan and it was working but sometimes you can't contain a team of that quality"

Is that an admission that once again we tried our best to get a nil nil draw in a game and made no attempt to score?

Don't know, but you can't contain a team of any quality at any level of football if you continue to defend like we are doing. Saint's second goal can be seen on school football pitches all over the country. Everyone running to the ball leaving the 6 yard area completely free of defenders. That sort of defending is nothing to do with p[layers getting used to playing at a higher level, it is very poor defending.
