    read to me more like a speculative journos punt, from the guardian article i read. i'd be surprised if they shelled that kind of money out on a 29-year old. you're right though, i think if he doesn't go to city, any move is dead for another season. united have signed bailly and about to blow daft money on pogba. barca have already said they've been priced out

    Juventus has already turned them down for 38 million from them for him. It wouldnt surprise me if they put a larger bid in, although I hope they keep rejecting so they spend more time on Stones!

    I think Bonucci is the player Stones will become, real footballing centre half. Hope you're right about the speculation. Think Juventus are being linked with a new centre half. Would suggest it's a replacement for Barzaglia (sp?) who's quite a bit older.
