    Completely appalling service

Booked a cab on Friday for them to collect me at 11pm on Saturday

At 1115 I called to see where it was and was told that they did not have gave one in the area.

I am not there for there benefits

They are totally shocking, I agree. Been let down twice by em, from town. One time I had to walk, another I had to bung some pizza delivery bloke a tenner to take me home in his clapped out Micra. Puts you off going in town when you're not sure you can get home.

City taxi's are as bent as they come apparently.

They've just taking over hilltop cars in Bolsover near me... and the complaints have gone through the roof..
They are sending drivers from Sheffield as they are taking every booking that comes in, and are struggling to honour loads of them.

You probably asked for a taxi. I booked the taxi and it came bang on time.

    Rookie error Tommy.

    Dunno.

Hey, did you watch a tennis match today? I did. Not much of a contest to be honest.

I had to cancel two taxis a couple of week back after using the app to book CIty Taxis. 30 mins later still no taxi.. Cancelled both and have now deleted the app, will never use them again.

I use blueline every Thursday / Friday and sometimes Saturday. Usually bang on time as well, only odd ocassion they are late but never been let down by them yet.

They've been appalling since they bought out A1. Was an article in last week's chronicle regarding May Bank Holiday weekend when they'd taken loads of bookings they couldn't honour. The guy who runs the Barnsley branch was saying they confirm the bookings anyway without knowing how many drivers they will have working. He also stated with the start of Ramadan they couldn't stop the Asian drivers from going for extra prayers and reducing their hours. I've used them once and a driver turned up from Rotherham! The cheeky sod also tried charging me £13 from town centre to Silkstone!

I think the Ramadan thing is more to do with eating than praying. They can only eat when sunsets so it's unlikely you would get a taxi at that time

They do one extra prayer during Ramadan each night but it isn't exactly a long drawn out affair
