This site is starting to look more like the old BBS !!! (Y) Has anyone been in contact with the old site admin and what was the response (if any). As you may have noticed I can only post intermitantly during the day so if I don't respond straight away that's the reason.
Planning on doing so shortly... but holding off for a full day to see what kind of response it gets from the wider community...
Playing Devils Advocate here but wouldn't it be better to see if Site Admin had plans on bringing the .net BBS back first before a takeover is launched? I'm sure that whichever way it goes, and whichever board ends up being used "The Community" will cough up funds.
Very true You are quite right, but we need more information. I'm not sure if anyone has contacted Site Admin, I believe that emails sent may not be recieving a response. If they do reopen the site then some posters will have a problem if the current site admin remains. The situation requires clarification, if the old bbs is to reopen on what terms ? If it is to become permanently defuncft then where and what style should a new forum take place ? Btw still not heard owt, I contacted BDGH who said I'm up for review. It's 3 mths today !!! I haven't died in the meantime and I feel AOK !!! Dave
