What a load of utter garbage. Anyone wish to counter claim? I've never believed any of it but just had the radio on and it just made me laugh. This 'clairvoyant' was 'predicting' people's futures who had TEXTED in to the show... 'Will I meet a man, get a job blah blah blah' and her making up her mind based on these text messages. Not even a face, a voice, a palm or anything to go by. What utter ballax.
It's all real... They get vibes that no one else can get. Although you can go on courses to learn how to get these vibes, so it kind of just makes them look like idiots. Go watch Derren Brown. He admits he's not a clairvoyant or got any mystical powers but he does a better job than they do. He's on at Sheff City Hall in May. £20ish a ticket. I went last year and it was well worth the money!
There's one in a women's magazine... (because I read them regularly, like...) They respond to letters people send in. Absolutley stupid! It gives people false hope and is mainly crap. Then you get people saying "well how did they know about x". They guessed and you associated it with something and they went with it. Would never pay money to someone who claims to be a medium, clairvoyant, psychic, ghost hunter etc as they're full of crap imho. At least Derren Brown admits it's stuff he's learned to do and nothing to do with this supposed "gift" they all have.
I took a friend to see one ....... ....... in Skipton a few years back. I was always sceptical about this sort of thing, but he had recently lost his Grandmother and was heartbroken; just in need of some kind of comfort. So I took him.</p> However, she told him nothing. Instead, she told me of somebody who had messages for me. She told me things there was NO WAY ON EARTH she could have known.</p> I have analysed and agonised in my mind all the things she told me many times overand all these years later I have to accept the things she said, therefore accept she was genuine.</p>
RE: Phsychic convention cancelled It was actually cancelled because you spelt psychic wrongly on the posters and nobody could find the venue.
Im not sure I was a non believer until I went to see one 'for a laugh'. This woman as it turns out predicted a hell of a lot of what has happened to me, things that weren't even in my thoughts at the time to do - i.e she said I'd live in New Zealand or Australia and I did 5 years after. She told me the number of the house I would live at - and yes - I do live at that number after buying the house 6 months after I'd seen her. Obviously some things are standard 'you may meet' ' you could have x kids' etc..... but I think there must be something to it.
RE: Im not sure I think people trying to predict stuff from a text message just de-values the profession. I don't think it's completely unbelievable that there could be something in it if they see you in person, but I supposed it's one of them things you have to see to believe like ghosts!
