    I think the fans would want a public hanging if that was to happen. He would need to perform miracles from the very first game to have any chance of the fans forgiving him. I just can’t see that appointment working out.

    When you consider just how bad Keith's record is (thanks Conan) it shows that results aren't everything, because Keith is seemingly popular. I mean, he's got odds for 3 other 2nd tier vacancies. Must be doing sumat reight.

    But yes. You can get odds on Peter Kay for the Bolton gig. And Rafa Benitez was 12/1 for Burnley at the weekend.
