Classic goals

Does anyone know if there has ever been some sort of video or whatever with say a top 50 goals type thing?
Just thinking bout some of the goals that we've scored over the last few years at least and it'd be great having them all together...there's been some top top strikes

I bought one a couple of years ago. I think my video recorder chewed it up though (Well it was either that one or the playoff final) :S

Yes i agree. Classic matches too. Such as the 7-1 against Hudds and the FA Cup games v Man U. Or are they already available? It would be great to see some classic matches from the 80s as well but I bet theres not much footage about.

My boss at the time was a Huddersfield fan. I intended to buy him a can of 7 up & put it on his desk upside down before he got in but I forgot to make the purchase!

I used to record any bfc game on tele since i was about 5... (even featured on one of em...the sheff u game from a few years back...had a great little interview...oh the insight) anyway, for one reason or another that huddersfield game didn't get recorded, and afterwards i was gutted to say the least!
But i do have the man u game on video and a plenty of other great games such as the play-off final...although i can't bring myself to watch it again!

 

50 greatest Readfern Goals

With 50 goals from other Barnsley players thrown in.

It's called "100 Greatest Barnsley Goals" or something very similat. Few years old now.

 

Did it misen. Transfered footage from VHS onto computer. Then used Adobe ImageReady to turn it into an animated gif. Didnt take long. Hardest part was compressing it down so filesize was small enough to go on here but still watchable.

 

Any chance you fancy putting a few more (if you have any others) onto a media file or something? I don't know how easy it'd be to get it done, but having a few minutes of some great goals would be brilliant to see

I havent got that much more footage. Someone recorded the Huddersfield match for me you see. I might have a couple more videos knocking about though.

I have that but only a couple from early 80. Aylott's against City. Banks v Rotheram and a Derrick Parker back flick

 

I`m currently transfering some clips of matches from video to dvd and sending them to City Tyke hopefully to be veiwed on this site including such gems as Andy Rammell`s hat trick against West Ham in the F.A.Cup and Steve Cooper kicking the crap out of a Sheff Utd player on BBC, allthough I`m a bit concerned about this copyright issue ,does it include old footage or is it just live links ? (hidebehindsofa)

1987 it was versus west ham... I dug out the video only 3 nights ago, and finally managed to suss out how to trasfer it to DVD...

What a classic, I can now watch it whenever I like, without fear of a "tape" becoming unwatchable.


BTW, the other game mentioned in my signature, can anyone recomend a placce I could get it, I have searched for a few years now, bu tno luck!!

This has to be a classic, and by far one of the best goals on this games

it was 2-1 to west ham, and then up popped agnew with a 20 yard free kick right in the top corner, without anyone moving whatsoever,

and don't forget, beresford also hit one from 35 yards in this game...

I've got the league cup game agin' Man City from '81 on tape. Great for a pick-me-up every now and again. Big Trev thundering that header past Corrigan and over 33,000 in at Oakwell - the surge in the Ponty when he scores is fantastic. Even better 'cos I was in it!!!

 

Is there any chance you/someone could post the highlights of that huddlesfield game on here? If thats possable, iam still puzzled about whats right and wrong on here now.
