Warnock should be banned for continually coming out with things like "he ran into it" or "he was holding his ground", when these things happen.

I thought he got a yellow card in the match? Obviously not then.

Seriously? This is a disgrace if the case, so why didn't Morgan get banned? Morgan's was far worse & you couldn't see the Davis one anyone near as clear as Morgan's!!

I hope the club are now going mental at the FA asking how he got a ban when Morgan got nothing! The club have 2, they can't let this go!

Problem is, Davis wasn't even booked

The argument is that if the ref misses an event then punishment can be applied retrospectively.
If the ref sees it and awards a yellow card, he's dealt with it at the time of the incident. Therefore even if his decision is utterly wrong it will stand.
Bizarre as it is, this is apparently the rule.

    Its even better than that

If the ref having seen the footage decides he has made a mistake - for example Dermot Gallagher with the Ben Thatcher case - thats OK and you can increase to 8 games ban

If however the referee watches the video and decides he was right all along -for example D'Urso then the FA are apparantly powerless to act

Its really a version of the following

    1. The referee is always right
    2. If the referee is wrong see rule 1

Unless they give a straight red card

    Then they can be rescinded.

    It's double standards.
