I know as well as anyone that we need a consistent goalscorer but what I have found most encouraging in recent performances is the meaness of our defence and a praise for SD for bringing back Muller who I`m sure gives everyone around him alot of confidence`

And those who have been slatting Moore as useless need to look at the facts... Albeit Souza and Kozzie have played great as well!

We are far better defensively with him in the side.... Look at Palace away.. No Moore looked shakey at the back.. Since then agst the Piggies, Bristol they hardly created a chance and tonight he was by far and away the best player for us!

Don't get me wrong he has his weaknesses, but he plays within his limitations, puts his body on the line and marshals/leads the back line well.

I'm a big fan of Foster but he doesn't seem to be playing as well as last season atm

Spot on rye. Moore has been excellent all season!! Really tightens up that defence!

despite all the abuse moore received for not playing well in his FIRST FIVE GAMES for the club i stand by my prediction he will be a fans favourite and contender for player of the season come may

    muller makes a big difference
the way he comes for (and catches) crosses would give any defence confidence
now if we could just find a goalscorer.....

the only thing that worried me today was the keepper rolling the ball out across to the back 4 2 of the 4 are not the quickest turners in the world a striker whos switched on could make us pay in the weeks to come if we do it more offten
but yes moore as improved in the last 4 games hes started we have only conceeded 2 and both were penaltys all the back 4 have cut out the silly mistakes and the team have benifited from it i just hope they keep it up

The whole back 4 are performing well. Foster isn't on his top form but the rest are, and we know Fozzy is always reliable. Moore makes a big difference, he must have been a bit off the pace at the start of the season because he has been a different player in the last month or so. Souza has always had his good games when he looks top class but he has started to do it consistently now, maybe Moore has something to do with that too? Kozluk is playing very well, most improved player at BFC in the last year. He is showing why he didn't look out of place in the PL, very impressed with him atm. First time since our promotion season that we have looked tight at the back. Muller, Colace and Anderson must also take some credit too. As should JCR and Devaney, they both work very hard at defending.

Great to hear Ponty72, now we just need the strikers to fire on all cylinders and we will be well up the table.

Davey hads got it almost right.
I think we are all agreed that OJs best role is to come on at the end to provide an aerial threat, draw defenders away from Hume, Macken or whoever else is in a scoring position and to boss the away defenders, the back 4 are magnificent and long may it continue, Colace and Anderson superb.
We need someone who can put the ball in the net on a regular basis, how davey alowed Lit to slip through our hands I i have no idea ...
Who is he looking for amongst those who are unavailable or available..

    The mind boggles

I would start by sending Rigters back. If he wants to take a look at Vaz Te on loan then at least he is freeing a space up. Lets be honest Vaz Te can't do any worse than Rigters, he looks unfit and uninterested. The players that have been going out on loan from the PL to other clubs shows that there are players available. Hopefully there will be someone coming in. Ideally one of the strikers we have already will start knocking them in regularly.
