Come on then. Own up! Who did it? Free soup and a free match ticket to boot. Incidentally, when was the last time the supporters actually turned up at the 'well to clear so much snow from the pitch? Must be some time ago now?
Apparently Paul Merson was good at clearing the 'snow' at Highbury. He was often seen 'at it' in the early hours.
Ha ha ha. And now he's the icon of many a soul in dear old England..... apparently the Brits take more Charlie then any other nation.
RE: Not quite what? do you ????cause they say they talk a lot of **** after , you must do (banghead) ..and theres me thinking i was the board retard '' DODWORTH BRIDGE ''please .... (clap)
January 1979 (promotion season). Spent 2 hours clearing snow off the pitch only for the ref to take one look and call the match against Doncaster off. Apparently trying to clear the snow had made the condition of the pitch worse with hundreds of kids trampling all over it and they never tried it again. Becuase the weather was so bad that season we did'nt play at home after Boxing Day until Feb 24th (the infamous 4-4 draw with Stockport when we were leading 4-1 with less than 10 minutes to go).
RE: Not quite what? America uses more sniff than any other country. Although its shifting more to crack and crystal meths these days
You can't just rely on the undersoil heating though to remove snow cause then you can end up with a waterlogged pitch
