yadda yadda Dirk is being a bit of a idiot, making himself out to be a lothario and then not taking a joke himself (altho Cleo did take it too far). Shipla has not done anything wrong (and indeed is one of the nicest people in there), yet got mercilessly bullied , including several comments that were clearly based on race. No comparison btw the situations. Altho I agree that it is fashionable generally to have a go at Americans, which is not right (a nightmare administration does not mean all Americans are idiots).

No, you are right "Are white people not considered equal to asians, orientals and black people in Britain" No. They have long been considered superior to asians, orientals and black people, and it still a problem today. Surely you can spot the differences between the Shilpa and Dirk situations (I mean in terms of the causes, forms, severity, and duration of behaviours - i.e. everything). If there were 3 asian guys repeatedly bullying a white guy, including making several insulting and ignorant remarks about his culture, background, and race, then you might have a point about racism in this instance. But there isn't. So you haven't.
