Club Happy With fans response

To change the emblem to one of the four options.ffs they are w@nk and its definitely a red rose on a white background. Don't know whos voting for these abolitions but just as they call for managers head after a few games the same will happen to these new crests .
I voted for the old badge not necessarily cos I didn't want change but purely because of the tat currently on offer.
I know it probably won't make much difference but I shall not be purchasing anything from the club with this **** on it I'll be getting it off the internet with just bfc printed on it or summat (sorry grandkids, not)
This rebrand has been I'll thought out without proper consultation and quality lacking imo.
Its supposed to take us forward to the future so at least give it some thought and care

Each to their own i suppose....but as long as it still says 'Barnsley' on it somewhere i will continue to buy it.

Saying that though I do actually like a couple of the new designs and have indeed voted for one of them.

My only hope is that, to quote the Chron ''more fans have voted to change the club crest than to keep the current logo'', really means that the 4 new options get a fairly even split but not one gets more votes than the 'keep' option.

I'm in agreeance I'll buy nowt either!

 

I've been told that number 3 is winning by a country mile at the minute. I'm not saying its reliable information, just something they've heard from somebody at the club.

 

I just hope that if they decide to go with one of the new designs that it has got over 50% of the vote because it appears to me that it could get 20.00000001% and win despite almost 80% of voters voting against it.

A mix between a Portsmouth & Arsenal badge with a Lancastrian badge thrown in for good measure.

And this is exactly why we are where we are......

The slightest hint of change and people throw the teddy out. We need to embrace things like this and as town get behind them or we might as well pack our bags for league 1 or 2 now.

It's any excuse to moan for some people and I don't mean just on here. There's no wonder crowds are down with this sort of atmosphere and stance eminating from the fan base.

Why ? If the new badges are rubbish, why do people have to accept them? Why can`t people say they don`t like them ?

 

In your opinion they are rubbish. Rather than bad mouthing the club because it's not exactly what you want try and remember it's only a badge.....

 

It is not just a badge though is it ? I thought it was a re-branding?
The club crest is the image of the club, at the moment it shows the history of the town. Fair enough , I understand that some of the younger people are not bothered about what happened last year, never mind in the towns past, but if it is to be used in a re-brand of the club, they should at least make sure they have the right product to replace the one we have now. None of the options the club have put forward are very striking .

Better ones HAVE been put forward, but I have seen no sign of them being taken into consideration at all! Have you?

I am not an artist or anything like that and I am sure that these options put forward by the club have been done professionally, but they are no better than what we already have, so why change?

 

So the club can let the community have a bit of a say on things associated with the club? We're moving forward off the pitch on a weekly basis, our ideas and suggestions about the concourse have been taken on board and rectified. People want more to do with the club and the first opportunity comes up with the badge and surprise surprise people are moaning because it's not specifically what they would like.

If I was Mansford I'd pack up and say sod it because people are never happy and are all to quick to dismiss because it's not what they want.

We will find out what the majority of people want when the votes are in and keep moving forward with the rebranding or whatever you'd like to call it.

 

Yeah what we supposed to do when fans of every Yorkshire and ****ishire club start taking the piss, with our red rose, just take it on chin there turning club into a laughing stock, and as for mansford anyone can spend money lets see him get some in before we start patting him on the back, when all advertising boards around the ground are in use and we have main club sponsors paying more then 3 bob and a blackies egg I'll give him a little credit but he's done nothing yet, a few tvs and bottles of ale is a good start now where at the same standard as Chesterfield lets see him kick us on a bit,
