It would be completely unethical to relegate us now even if Wigan successfully appeal the 12 points. Basis to this is, we aee now in a state of limbo. Unable to enter the transfer market or negotiate current player contracts as we do not know what league we will be in. We are being put at a significant unfair disadvantage by having to wait until mid August at best no doubt, maybe longer until an appeal is heard and ruled upon. We cannot plan until this is resolved. Either remove the right to appeal for Wigan as the rules were very clear, or rule that the league may start with 25 teams next season and 4 relegation slots.
