I'm surprised there hasn't been one yet regarding the trouble in the upper tier. Even if it's just to say they are making strenuous representations to the relevant parties about what our fans were put through up there.

Yeah would have thought we'd have released a club statement about it by now. Even if it's just to condem what happened, back up our own fans that were put in a bad situation and to say they are looking into it.

Well if any of the Barnsley lads up there are prosecuted, it would be an injustice imo. I hope the club doesn't ban them as well. Don't get me wrong, I hate trouble as much as the next decent person, but from what I've seen, those guys had no option but to stand their ground and after extreme provocation from mindless cowardly thugs who came from other parts of the ground to join in the family bashing.

Thing is, Whilst watching the footage posted earlier I actually felt myself getting angry and really felt for those guys. I tried to imagine myself up there and couldn't say for certain that I wouldn't at least attempted to lend a hand.

It doesn't make us as bad as them to defend one of our own, no matter what anyone says. The bottom line of it is, if they hadn't of come over looking for a fight then we wouldn't of had to defend ourselves. We all would of leant a hand obviously if you're able to as that's what we do for each other. If I saw a Barnsley fan anywhere getting some stick, i'd be there whether it be brave, stupid or otherwise and I would hope someone would for me.

one of our fans knocked a millwall fan out cold and he fell over the seats, he could end up getting himself banned although he was defending himself and fellow fans, i hope our board members see it as self defence

they could look at it in a way that he started the charge by the millwall fans to make the families flee

I would have done the same thing, I would have knocked a few more out too... the stewards up there deserve a medal has big has a bin lid... the most frustrating part when watching it was our lot were getting knocked all over and not 1 copper in sight... the police have a lot to answer for,

This ^^^ the bravery of the stewards and outnumbered barnsley fans was to be applauded

Me too. I said exactly the same when I got home and I abhor violence at football.
