    They’ve worked wonders this season. I know I’m biased because I’m mates with Whitey, but it’s been absolutely mint all season and especially in the last 2 weeks. Some of it has made me laugh out loud, others brought out the pride and emotion of following Barnsley Football Club.

    They’ve certainly brought the club and fans closer together

    Brilliant presentation, thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Thanks to our Media team for all the
    videos they have made for us this term. Greatly appreciated. It was a pity that we couldn't
    end our season with all three points, but never mind. For a young squad, our lads have never
    lost their focus and have believed in themselves throughout a long and arduous season. Great to see
    them all joining in the celebrations after the final whistle. Many a Coach/Manager would have taken
    exception at being thrown in the air and soaked in booze, but not Daniel. He joined in with gusto.
    He reminds me a lot of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, in that he respects every single player who
    pulls a shirt on for him and is not above giving them a hug at the end of the game. We look to
    have a squad of players who together with our team of coaches, clearly " get on" and look as though
    they genuinely do like playing for Daniel and Barnsley Football Club. I hope that we can hang on to DS and the
    bulk of our current squad for next season, because I have a feeling that we could do well in the Championship
    this upcoming new season.

    Top notch and the fact that all the staff are so relaxed with them makes them something else.

    On another note, Barnsley FC are definitely premier league in terms of celebrating promotion!

    I put a post on here back in August praising the media staff for the work they’re putting out and saying if they continued on this path then they’ll succeed in reconnecting a club with its fans after a previous season of alienation.

    We are now at the seasons end and I can safely say they succeeded in this task. Well done to Whitey and all the staff it’s all well and good having a good footballing team but you brought that team closer to the fans and everyone should be grateful for that.
