    NZ would have been a much greater psychological barrier though the French should not be underestimated.

    Who'd have thought...

    ...when France were getting beaten by Argentina at the start of this tournament and England were continuing to struggle that they'd go on to beat the All-Blacks and Wallabies to set up a semi-final together.

    I can't see England under-estimating France on their own soil.

    It was of course odd that France who are hosting the tournament had to play New Zealand in Cardiff.
