We went all the way down the M1 and crawled for nearly 2 hours between the Staples Corner intersection with the North Circular and Wembley.

I've heard some say they came off the M1 onto the M25 and others came down the M40 (we did this in 2000 and seemed less of a crawl).

The E-on bus did the M25/M40/A406 thing

Still took an eternity getting there. Through my brandy-induced blur, I think we finally rocked up about 3pm. Did the same coming back, which was a right pain. Still on the A40 at quarter to eight!! Hit tarn about 11.30

We had no wipers on the way home, just a bloke with rag wiping the mist on the inside. nt

Carbon footy print, what a laugh

The coaches alone sat with their engines on in the carpark used up enough energy to heat scotland for a week.

Having the stadium in london instead of the middle of the country again uses extra anergy and creates more carbon emissions

By the time we had walked up and down the rows of coaches breathing in all the exhaust fumes i felt sick as a pig when i got on the coach :)S)

Wipers aren't much good if the windscreen is misting up on the inside! nt
