Initial nicknames drive me nuts...I've worked with a 'JP' and a 'CJ'...I insisted on calling them 'John' and 'Chris' much to their annoyance!
Saw a blunts fan today, said he scored 2 belters for them, but didn't look interested. Said more to do with having to play for them than owt else
Some make sense, though. TK is easier to put/say than Kennedy. Same as COG and JOB etc. And if he's calling Cofie 'Cofes' then I don't get it. JC makes more sense. We all love JC don't we? God bless him.
From Barnsley mate - spade a spade and all that, 'Tom Kennedy', 'John Cofey'...anything else is far too ambiguous
Coming from the man whose nickname is just his surname with an extra Y stuck on the end. 3/10 for effort
I was called Chalky at school. ******* hated it. An old mate always called me Snow or Snowy. But most folk just called me Whitey and it's stuck. It's not a choice I made. If I'd have chose my nickname, it'd have been 'Handsome' or summat else a bit more truthful. What's thine anyway? '**** Jogger?'
I have many nicknames, here we go... In school I was nicknamed "Tank" for my ability to kick bigger boys up in the air during lunch time football matches More recent nicknames include, "Barnsley" - Must be to remember who I support, bless em. "Wig" because I went through a stage of having rather long rock n roll hair before it started falling out/receeding at a drastic rate. "Babsa" - I'm sure DeeTee would love to remind everyone of my scandal involving an African dress and a webcam, the full nickname is Babsa Mufassa, but people just stick to Babsa. And of course, "Usain" or "the white Bolt" for my athletic tendencies
