They've accepted a bid in the region of 300k and personal terms were being discussed last night according to the star.

Cheers Scott, I don't think the deal was ever in doubt to be honest

    Untill it's official i don't believe anythig.

    Reight cynical basta.rd.

Knowing the Star though, it'll be "The Star understands SWFC have accepted a bid of around £300k" - Summat anyone can write without any proof whatsoever.

    Hope it's true like.

Great news if accurate but I'm always sceptical about news stories in the Star.

Barnsley agreed a deal for him at £300k when he came on loan, we then tried to renegotiate the deal down to £200k.

This post is a good one in the same thread

"Been told deal adds up to 500k with ad ons.

Fair price for a player not quite good enough for us, but ok for a small club like Barnsley.

    Good luck COG."

Cant decide if the guy is serious or its a piss take

When they had a decent side in the 90's (albeit still only won one trophy) you understood their supporters being like they are but now they're breeding (letting out of the cellar) these young supporters that are bred with the same mentality and all they've ever known is a yo-yo side between leagues 1 and the Championship. Some have been sat on their Father's/lovers laps too much sucking on the Werthers and being told about Mel Sterland, Phil King and their hero Dingle Dave Hirst.
