Simple but maybe stupid question. Have we ever had a more commited or succesful loan player? What a humble professional who has given absolutely everything for the cause. And a thanks to dave jones, well done on pushing away an animal.

    Cheers COG

What's weird, is pork talk are still saying 'not good enough for us'. Bizarre. Then again, they are planning for Champions League in 2015

Not sure, although trippier & the lads from stoke were pretty commited too.

Nads & Lumsden were also not bad loan signings, it's when they signed perm that things started to go wrong for them.

There's been a few decent loan signings over the years: Curtis, Chopra, the two lads from Stoke, Trippier. But Chris O'Grady is right up with the best of them. He's been absolutely brilliant in some games.

Got to say though, there's been far more loan players who have been a complete waste of time and money.

Brian McCord. Looked like a world beater when we had him on loan and was quite simply atrocious as soon as he signed permanently.

He tends not to celebrate much but I guess he has to be fairly restrained at the moment.

If we can match his wages and flicker stays, he's coming, no doubt.

Was it me or does this montage read like a Barnsley FC who's who. Lost count of the "Dagnall sets up O'Grady" commentaries

Yep, they have a great understanding. More than happy if we got with cog, daggers next year with probably rose, Scotland and one other as backup.
