and you know what even O'connor and he was a lazy ****! Id absolutely love to have anyone of them in my team now. Colace heart was not in like in it like De Silva but at least they had class. De Silva is twice the player Perkins will ever be even on a bad day.
butterfields a good player and so is doyle. anderson was a very good player but he got played out of position and he could do it. he needed space and as a second striker he couldnt get it. and the fans couldnt wait to boo him
What a desperate post that is Colace was toss, even when he won player of the year, in a bad Barnsley team, for me he wasn't even in the top 5. De Silva was toss after his injury, seemed to be limited to one good game every 6 months after that. Howard and Bogdanovic were good players, but both wanted to leave and were rightfully shown the door. Mellis had a few decent games, and a few bad ones, I dread to think what Chelsea would want for him, considering he cost them a million quid, and I wouldn't say he's worth that at the moment. The problem isn't the players, the problem is the system they're being played in, can anyone really fathom out what it's supposed to be. Perkins isn't a wide player, but seems to be pushed out on the wing. Doyle isn't an attacking player, but seems to have a more advanced role. O'Brien is a winger, being played inside, Haynes is a striker being playedon the wing, and Butterfield doesn't pass. If we're going to play one up front, we need 2 proper out and out wide players. Seen as though we don't have many natural wingers, i'd really like to see any 2 of RNL, Vaz Te and Wiseman played down the flanks, players who look like they've got pace, the ability to beat a man, and hopefully get a cross in the box. If needs be, they can cut inside when the ball is down the opposite flank and work as a second striker.
O'Connor was no better than what we have now but earned significantly more than they do so no thanks I'd rather O'Connor was remembered for what he actually was - a lazy fecker who was a very poor player in a reds shirt. I'd have Howard back tomorrow though.
Don't agree... It's the players that are not good enough even at this early stage.... Perkins - Everyone keeps banging on about how he is being played out of position but if he was played in the middle the opposition would run through our midfield. He has bags of energy and runs about a lot...but no end product and lightweight. Mcnulty - Just clearly not good enough. Not strong enough and not composed one bit with the ball at his feet. Edwards - Looks like he might do a job but he is no Shackell. Fozzy may bring the best out of him when fit. Wiseman - Needs to improve so much if he is to be at the required standard. No pace. Passing is very poor, his confidence looked at the lowest of low on tuesday night. Like to know if he could cross but has never got the chance. Davies - Not had the service I will give him that...but you still have to make things yourself at times. Did not win one header on tuesday night and was brought off after 60 minutes against southampton as "he looked leggy"...Where chuffing 2 games in and one was against Morcombe!! If he will be our top goal scorer i'm very worried. Addison - Looks to me like a centre half more than a midfielder. Be a good squad player but could be made to look stupid against better teams sat in midfield. Vaz te - The one that looks to have the ability but his attitude may get in the way of that if we keep losing games... Not one signing has been good enough yet...we need to improve drastically. If the money is just not their to bring in good loan players then where in for a long season. My honest opinion, Love the club and there is nothing better than seeing BFC doing well but where going through a tough time that's for sure.
