How did he really play last night? We seem to be getting mixed messages. Commentators on WORLD last night seemed to think he was having a poor game - off the pace, game passing him by, losing he ball too easily etc. but on here he is getting good reports on the whole.

Think your right about him losing the ball easy, wasnt too bad in 1st half, but was dire in the second IMHO.

He looked like it was far too cold for him, like his joints had seized and couldn't run properly. Having said that, he played well first half, but the second half in general was dire really. When he (and others) did get the ball at their feet, there was no-one available to pass it to - so it just kept either getting lost, or hoofed and kept coming back. But I thought in the whole, he was OK - like everyone else really.

Mixed game for him. Thought when he got booked in the game he was going to get a quick 2nd yellow when he jumped in.

I thought once again he was very good at breaking up play & giving a few nice passes. They all gave the ball away at times, but hey ho, we stayed solid on the whole & for once we looked more like a unit!

I think he has been a massive plus for us in the last month!

He covered a lot of ground last night. I think he is going to be a player that does a lot of spadework and to some that will go un-noticed.
