Apparently on Praise and Grumble last night Alan Bloore said Colchester stub holders would be given priority over general sale.

    Take your ticket stub

And you'll be able to poke someone in the eye with it and then jump in front of them in the queue!

can they hurry up and decide then.

its a bit barmy for it to be announced on the radio one night, yet the day after the club still havn't figured out how they are gonna do it. Did they think no one would be interested really? I've booked Mon 3rd off work, cos there will obviously be queues seeing as whats happening wi ST holders at the moment. I need to know if I can cancel that and book say Fri 29th instead. But I guess I'm just a moaner, not someone who has to plan things.

I don't think you'll have to wait too long for the detail.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

    I've got a black belt.

Found it. Buckle's missing and someone's added an extra notch with a pair of scissors right at the end, so it was obviously too small for the person that had it.

What if you've already used your Colchester stub to get the beam back for a fiver. Can we use the beam back stubs or what about all the rest of this seasons stubs that I've saved.

surley its too late to start changing the info now, unless they give priority before the general sale date (3rd) people make arrangements eg time of work to suit the info which is posted on the site. they can't start moving dates etc now.

just wondering who they would fit this catagory in now

    oi! will yer give up...................

if you keep complicating things, I'll never get a bleedin answer.

Bet they're trying to word a statement disassociating themselves form Alan Bloore at this very moment.

    Box Office This Morning

Theres only going to be about 1,000 Colchester ticket stubs because a lot were used for the beam back it just makes a mockery of what Alan Bloore said on the radio last night,I rang the club this morning the lady who answered said the Colchester ticket stubs had no relevance for the Chelsea game when challenged she went away for a minute then came back and said keep your eyes on the main site on March 3rd,she didnt have a clue and she works in the office, personally I think a lot of ST holders will only want 1 because its on TV,the club has a lot to answer for its a total farce.

    I just rang box office......

and after I recovered my composure cos I got straight thru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the woman who answered said she hadn't heard anything about what had been said on Radio Sheffield but thought it wouldn't be true as a lot of people used the Colchester stubs for the beam back. She went away to find out but said everyone who she needed to speak to "was in a meeting" and could I ring back later. They sure do have a lot of meetings at the busiest times down Oakwell.
My moneys on Alan Bloore being in the ****, or he never actually said it. If he did, why don't the club know anything a day later.
As I said, a wind up.

I thought what was said on Radio Dee Dah

was that the Trust were lobbying the club to keep back a number of tickets for Colchester stub holders but that agreement was still to be reached

The situation is being monitored, hopefully this will be possible but no announcement will be made until next week when it will be clearer when the best day to do this might be with. Sorry I realise this isn't what you want to hear.
