Can imagine players wanting contracts/ impress prospective new boss will be boosted by that but if we can't beat an already relegated team with the incentive of solidifying our place in the play offs we don't deserve to be there simple as.

Could go one of two ways this. They come out and perform for the caretaker boss, and get a result against us, or they have a monumental collapse at the end of what has been a bad season for them and we run riot.

Shades of Crawley last season. We lost our manager, then lost our first away game 5-1.

Same again please, only without the 1 :)

Oh I dont know Id take a 5-1 win now thanks very much should be enough to ensure a Draw is all we need at Wigan to have a better GD than Scunny should they win both remaining games

would have preferred he hadn't gone but if we can't beat a relegated team that has obviously not been performing for most of the season then we don't deserve to make the play offs anyway

I know, but yet another clean sheet would be so much better. I'm not really expecting one, but on the other hand, the way our heroes are playing at the back these days, why not?

We do deserve to be in the playoffs even if we lose to Colchester......if we finish in the top 6.

Picking on one game in 46 does not make any sense.

its getting ridiculous on here you have to type a post to justify and explain every post!
    Right here goes
My post was in the context of the original post ie referring to the Colchester game, but its a fact that if we don't win it that would put a serious crimp in our play off hopes ( as in even the most optimistic of fans know that winning at Wigan is anything but a foregone conclusion ), if other results on the day (this Saturday not Sunday next week when we play Wigan) then it could be terminal.
As a fan I fully realise that the outcome of play off and relegation positions are the result of a seasons efforts and not just a particular game.

Mmm.......well you posted something that I disagreed with.

If you think that we deserve to be in the playoffs even if we don't beat Colchester, then it was rather "ridiculous" to post what you did.

There is no other context to place your post in. You said something plain and simple. I don't think what you posted is right.
