Colchester v Southend - who do you cheer?

One of those games it's a shame both sides can't lose, but:

Do we cheer Southend now and increase our chances of second place, or hope for a draw and to close on the leaders? Or do we play the mindless optimism card REALLY heavily and go for a Colchester win and subsequent collapse in the coming weeks (surely not).

It's come to this: I don't even know who I want to win anymore. Is it too early to start drinking?

    Southend win.

Doubtful we can catch Southend but if we do well and end up 3rd it'll be Colchester keeping us from 2nd.

    You're a brave man

Early days yet I know but with their games in hand that result would increase the chances of a Southend/Colchester top two.

    Southend will win

I think Colchester are believing their own hype , they are on a poor run at the moment , so I expect them to lose.</p>

    Southend

Second place was good enough in '97 and it'd be good enough this year.
I don't care if Southend run away with it as long as the beat a few of our rivals on the way.

    Southend win.

Colchester have 2 games in hand. I know you're better of with the points in the bag but...
Like Revvie says 2nd place was good enough in '97 it'd do me this season!
