I'd be one of first to say buy a new keeper after his mistake yesterday until I realised that the rest of tyhe team needs strengthening badly, and getting a decent kepper would severely drain cash. Sorry - didn't mean sell him really, just meant buy a better keeper, Colgan could be kept as backup. (dunno)
Why does it have to be keep or sell? Why not keep him but get an experienced keeper as back up? I agree that we need to strengthen other positions.
RE: Why does it have to be sorry, I should have said keep or drop from team, I'll edit in fact. You're right we shouldn't sell him because he'd be a decent backup but I wonder whether or not he'd stay as number two after so long as first choice.
Keep him and get someone else in to create some competition. And for all those who simply blame losing on the keeper........... Sell all the strikers as they keep missing chances ! Sell all the defenders as they can't defend ! Sell all the midfielders as they can't keep the ball ! Its a team game for christ sake.....if we had created and taken 2 chances we would have won despite the keepers error.......too easy to blame the last line of defence.
